Hamilton Watts Intl Mobility announces its closure in Malaysia but, due to Triona's tremendous work and professionalism, requested to continue working with Triona and so begins the story of Pathfinder Relocation Services...
Working from humble origins, the team of 2 worked from Triona's spare room in her Penang home and began to forge a reputation as an unstoppable force within the Malaysian Relocation Industry.
As the business grew, Triona's second spare room was vacated to make way for our accounts manager.
We began operating in our second location, Kuala Lumpur, with a team of just 2 Field Consultants.
With Triona's flair for relocating expatriates and a steady building network of happy clients, we caught the attention of Reloc8 Asia Pacific Group and were proudly selected to be their sole Malaysian business partner.
Business continued to grow and more relocating expatriates joined our extended family.
Operations began in Kuantan and Alor Setar.
Triona began an extension on her home to accommodate the ever expanding team. Pathfinder operations now occupied both spare rooms plus the conservatory which housed an office team of 6.
A housekeeper was employed to make lunch for the team daily, popular choices were Dhal and Roti and a Malaysia favourite, Nasi Goreng.
Operations began in the first East Malaysia area, Kuching.
We were awarded our second award, the 'Raving Fan Award' by our partners in Global Mobility.
Operations began in Miri, Labuan and Kota Kinabalu.
We started shopping for an awards cabinet as we won yet another award from our Global Mobility partners, 'Commitment to Excellence Platinum'.
In recognition of our quality management system, we were awarded with the 'EuRA Global Quality Seal' by the European Relocation Association.
Operations began in Malacca and Johor Bahru.
We launched our Immigration Services Division.
The trophy cabinet is filling fast as we won our third 'Commitment to Excellence Platinum' award, our fifth award in total.
With office desks creeping into her living room and 8 cars spilling out of her driveway, Triona eventually gave in and moved us into our first 'real' office, a renovated house close to her home.
The office team had been expanded again to a team of 10.
Proving that our ever growing Pathfinder family were still able to offer the same outstanding service, we won our sixth award, 'Commitment to Excellence- Gold'.
To cap off an already successful year, we were also awarded with the 'EuRA Global Quality Seal' for the third time in a row.
Operations began in Lumut.
The relocators' relocated themselves to Kuala Lumpur and welcomed a new generation of Team Pathfinder.
Now in the big city, and with an ever expanding team, Pathfinder is now an unstoppable force with unrivalled relocation services.

In a constantly evolving world, we understand that to succeed is to change. 15 years after Pathfinder’s incorporation, we underwent a rebranding transforming our company image in preparation for an even more exciting future. To prove that Pathfinder is still on the same continuous mission to exceed expectations, we were rewarded with 2 new awards for Legendary Service and our Commitment to Excellence.
Pathfinder now operates in 13 locations throughout Malaysia and Brunei with a team of 35, but most importantly we still maintain that same Pathfinder magic following the example set by our founder and General Manager, Triona Chelliah.
